This room should feel Light & Airy

    Future requirement

We're also hoping it will become a nursery in not too long, and it would be great to not need to re-decorate the room again. We'd favour a gender neutral, modern, contemporary nursery, so I imagine the same colour scheme could be kept.

    Love about the space

-We love that it is slightly bigger than a box room,
-The queen bed would need to stay – we like the size, and would be keeping it.

    Dislike/hate about the space

-The length is difficult, with the permanent boxing over the stairs at the end of the room.
-It can often look a little dark
-We don't like the boxing over the stairs, but would like to use this area for extra storage, potentially fitted cupboard or baskets? (The television and xbox is temporary… don't tell my husband)
-We hate the fitted wardrobes, and would be more than happy to remove them for extra and better use of space. We don't need so much wardrobe space specifically, cupboards or drawers and/or one wardrobe would be fine.

    Nothing inparticular

    Exclude the following Colours/prints/textures

We would want the colours to be gender neutral, and we're are not fans of chintzy prints (Cath Kidston)

Wall finish Something bright and airy, to make the space lighter
Flooring We're happy to have carpet or wood flooring
Window treatments Blackout blinds or curtains
