Think Pink – It’s Breast Cancer Awareness Month

Decologist Anne-Marie Springer take on Blush pink

It’s pink week. Breast Cancer is a disease that statistically will touch the lives of 90% of  women on the planet –  my mother is survivor, my sister lost her 39-year-old sister-in-law to breast cancer two years ago and two of my friends are currently in treatment. Breast cancer charities increase awareness of this lady-killer, but also ensure that there are funds to conduct routine checks as symptoms can be elusive – over 30% of cases are detected in routine checkups.

Some of our favourite supplier and interiors bloggers are supporting the Breast Aware Month this October, writing about it and actively donating to support charities. So, here is  our roundup of the most stylish ways to take pink out of the nursery and support Breast Cancer:

    House of Hackney

House of hackney is donating 10% of all sales this week to Breast Cancer Care, what better excuse to indulge in one of their gorgeous wallpapers.

    Little Greene

We are a big fan of Little Greene shades  year roun, but this 8 shade capsule collection is a real showstopper.  On top they are donating £15,000 to breast cancer charities….

    Heart Home Magazine

This inspirational blog brings us bush pinks with a Scandi mood a real hygge vibe- we really heart!

    Furniture Fashion

furniture fashions rounds up a selection of pink furniture in honour of Breast Cancer Awareness – we  love the bright pink Fatboy.

We religiously read Kimberly Duran’s blog, and loved here recent post about decorating with blush pink – if you’re more of an eclectic type you will love this….
